Limited Edition produced in 1977
This handsome guy is part of my obsession with the connection and perseverance of two piece antique items. That they have beautifully survived decades together, unbroken, absolutely inspires me. This piece was originally imported and bottled by Calvert Distillers Company NY, NY in 1977. It was the first in a limited series and measures approximately 12” tall x 8”wide.
I have taken what some see as a rather macabre twist on these creatures by repurposing them as planters. Just place fresh or silk flowers in it and display the head separately… I think it’s a fun, artistic way to keep this category of history relevant. Place on the shelf of any room or in your bar area, and enjoy for another forty years.
As with all antique/vintage items these are not perfect. I do not sell items with major flaws but they will have signs of wear. This decanter is empty and has no cork, intended for decoration only. If you require additional photos please email us.
