What a gem! To fully appreciate this treasure you must be able to live in the space of wonder, believing in the impossible... like the infamous Jackalope. The other-worldly animal is purported to have the body of a rabbit and the horns of an antelope. Legend states that this horned hare is elusive and powerful, but with one weakness: whiskey. Anyone hoping to catch a jackalope should leave the spirit out for them to find. Once intoxicated, they become easier to catch, or so the story goes. Magical mythical greatness AND two fragile pieces of history that have endured in this decanter... Some powerful energy for the home.
This piece was created by The James B. Beam Distilling Co. and produced by the Genuine Regal China Company. There is a Copyright marking for C. Miller 1971. It measures approximately 14.5” tall x 5.5”wide x 3” deep.
As with all antique/vintage items these are not perfect. In fact, most of them are over fifty years old.
