Produced in 1967, cork closure, empty
A proper gentleman, with a perfectly passive paw up and original stickers worn but intact. There is some residue from the seal that I am leaving because it adds to its antique nature and is a nod to its long journey in this life. This decanter is part of my obsession with the connection and perseverance of two piece antique items. That they have beautifully survived decades together, unbroken, absolutely inspires me. This piece was created by The James B. Beam Distilling Co. and produced by the Genuine Regal China Company. There is a Copyright marking for C. Miller 1967. It measures approximately 12” tall x 5.5”wide x 3” deep.
As with all antique/vintage items these are not perfect. In fact, most of them are over fifty years old. There are signs of wear that I have tried to capture in the photographs, but your eye may catch something else and I do not want you to be disappointed.
