Refund policy

First off, thank you so much for checking us out! We know there are a lot of wonderful vintage sites to choose from online and we appreciate your presence. If you are looking at our return policy before shopping, well done because we are a small business and our policy will differ from the larger companies. We are a shop full of mostly one-of-akind items that can’t be out of circulation for long, so they need to be passed back to us with a quickness not needed at companies with deep size runs and pockets. That said, we do understand all of us have busy lives and want to make it as manageable as possible.

Please email us within 48 hours of receipt of an item if you intend to request making a return. Once we have emailed approval for the return, you will have 7 days to get it back out to us. We’re all grown folks, so that should be ample time to try on, re-try on… test drive a home decor item in your home, and make a decision. All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Clothing:

Your item must be sent back unworn, with any/all tags attached, and in the condition in which it was sent. Our offerings are carefully photographed, described, and measured so that you can shop with confidence keeping in mind all items are vintage and have been mended to the best of our abilities when needed. Our hand-embellished pieces are sewn for creativity, not perfection. There will be intentional LUV and flavor, not perfectly straight lines and boredom.

We will happily provide extra measurements or images upon request, as we often take extra images for our own accuracy and accountability.

Please keep in mind that we deal in vintage clothing, which is imperfect by nature. It’s what we love… the perfection of imperfection. Some items may have been worn or used before, and often retain the impression of their former users. Even unworn old stock may have flaws from its manufacturing or previous storage. We do our best to note the flaws and deliver accurately accurate photographs but may miss something minor. On that note, we are not professional photographers, but we’re good, and do our best with additional lighting and software to properly represent coloration, but where model shots are available use them as a best capture of color. Should an inaccuracy occur and you are unhappy, we will make it right for you via a discount or paid return label.

Our best ‘fit’ advice is to measure a like item of clothing to ensure a suitable fit for you. We recommend this with all clothing when shopping online, but it becomes increasingly important when dealing with vintage denim as it can be particularly tricky with its 100% cotton rigid denim. BUT DO NOT FEAR… if nervous simply measure yourself and divide that measurement by two as we measure things lying flat (measured 30” waist = 15” flat measurement, 28” = 14”, and so on). OR you can add ½-1 inch to the measurement of stretch jeans and they should work.

We have also listed “suggested sizing” based on our decades of experience buying and selling denim. Minor alterations might be necessary for the best fit to your figure, as with any item of clothing - we lovingly refer to that as ‘couture-ing’ your denim. We personally do that with both contemporary and vintage pieces because we like a perfect fit and it’s worth it on items you intend to wear a lot and LUV for decades! If you need more information please see our “Measurement Keys” featured at the bottom of the website and/or reach out to us via email or direct messaging on the social media platform where you saw the item.

We often sell very distressed items, *tees I’m looking at you* for that brat-tastic™ and edgy flavor. You will know those items when you see them… they’re our favorites and will be yours too. In an effort to minimize stress on the environment with our distressed items, we have laundered them with our own things for weeks and sometimes months to achieve the look. We make every effort to represent this accurately, and the real story here is… if you aren’t looking for extra flavor in your vintage pieces, we might not be your spot. We hope we are, want you to give us a go, and feel the difference in our LUVed up pieces, just be ready for the power that comes with our pieces.

Home Decor:

As with our clothing, we do our best to properly photograph and represent pieces. They are all vintage or antique and will likely have some flaws from age, but that’s the sweet spot. The signs of age are the banners of perseverance and strength. They are usually two fragile pieces (that’s our obsession - their plurality and survival) that have not only made it this long unbroken… but have managed to do so while also staying together. THAT is the power and energy I want in my home and want to share with my loved ones. All.week.long.and.twice.on. Sunday.

All that to say… these pieces are highly revered, they are our babies, and we pack our home items with great care so you can order with confidence. Should you receive an item broken please know that we will not leave you with it. We will provide a paid return label in that situation and take it up with USPS ourselves.
